Professional Experience 2022 - Current

Worth Ryder Art Gallery Fellowship  WRAG gallery leader located at UC Berkeley. 
Studio assistant for ceramicist Buldan Seka.
Tasks include handbuilding and glazing pieces, maintaining a clean studio, and creating commissioned pieces.

Art Teacher at Green Forest Art Studio
Teach sketch and portfolio classes to middle and high school students, along with weekly lesson plans for elementary school students. Ensure high quality work is produced by each student by teaching proper technique and skill. Making lesson plans and video lessons for classes as well.

2020 - 2021
Lead Art Teacher at Global Art San Diego
Taught one on one art to children ages 3-18 using a wide variety of mediums such as oil pastels, acrylic painting, graphite drawing, colored pencils, gouache, clay, and much more.
Created and planned projects and lesson plans.
Helped with marketing i.e. creating posters, talking and maintaining a good relationship with parents. Assisted many students with art projects that led several to win many nominations and awards.

2019
Teachers Assistant at Oakland High School
Tasks include working alongside students and guiding their creative processes, teaching them handbuilding and glazing techniques while motivating their projects. A teacher's assistant to artist instructor Cathy Lu.

2018
Ceramic Studio Technician 
at California College of the Arts.
Tasks include reclaiming clay, maintaining health and safety through thoroughly cleaning studio, loading and firing kilns, mixing glazes and glaze safety, basic studio upkeep. Experience with using pugmill.
Textiles Lab Assistant at California College of the Arts.
Tasks include cleaning and maintaining safety and cleanliness of studio, assisting students with projects and purchases, mixing dyes, and experience with maintaining indigo dye vat.

Mentorship with ceramic artist Joseph Kowalczyk.
2017
Volunteer Teacher Assistant 
at Community School for Creative Education, Oakland, California.
Tasks included creating a creative space for students, helping with art classes and activities, and ensuring the well being of students.
